Re: A little torpedo smoking tip

Same here. Angle means more surface area, and the top is rolled quite well on cigars with good construction. If you cut it straight but at the tip, it's like getting a toro to smoke through a petite...

Re: Financial Advise???

By the way, credit markets are a bit more tough now, and most new cards don't start you off at much lower than $6k.

Re: Financial Advise???

That's the main thing here. If you are just doing it to buy time, transfer the balance to another card. Or hell, borrow it from a relative (mom, dad, sister, aunt, whatever) if need be because 19%...

Re: Ties suck

I started my career at a large CPA firm doing public accuonting (tax) and tie was required which I honestly didn't like. I went into private accounting (cost accounting) a few years back, and I miss...

Re: Do you need a server AND a humidor?

It's a dual core Atom (found in many netbooks) and doesn't run hot. You probably can run this passively with a good HSF so heat isn't a problem. Very small for a server, 2x 3.5, which is definately...

Re: Vinotemp 28 capacity

My Vino has 23 boxes wrapped in ziplock bags, mostly cab, and a double drawer half full at around 50-70 so 630ish or so and 95% full. My cabs don't stack too well since some are in odd sizes, and the...

Re: Ashton VSG seconds? (Similar)

To try? Yes. To buy a box locally? No. Try purchasing from various companies in Pennsylvania.

Re: I spent entirely too much money on cigars...

No, just means you need to purchase more. In case, you know. I don't know, just purchase more. Don't they put marijuana in it?

Re: I spent entirely too much money on cigars...

Not a bad haul. You know you're in trouble though when you realize you need multiple coolers :fu

Custom's would show up at my doorstep and have some question for me :r

Re: Ashton VSG seconds? (Similar)

To the VSG? Not really. Maybe another sun grown? Rocky Partel has a line I believe but I've never tried it.

Re: Ashton VSG seconds? (Similar)

I'm pretty sure any top shelf cigar is not going to have seconds.

Re: Best Cheap Ashtray

If you are looking for an actual cigar ashtray, anything cheap from cigarbid.com will do.

Re: Lancero question

Oh yeah, danny on these forums gave me one I think, and it was an amazing lancero. The Oliva V comes in on a close second.

Re: Casa Fuente

I probably wouldn't buy any sticks, but I would definately check out the ash trays. I got a nicely crafted 3 finger bowl for $40, and it is definately a good buy in my book.

Re: Lancero question

Maybe you should try a lonsdale which has a bit more ring guage but not much more.

Casa Fuente

I recently went to Las Vegas and dropped by the Casa Fuente's store in the Caesar's Palace Forums to pick up a few cigars. Casa Fuente’s house blend has the same binder and filler as regular Opus X...

Re: Anyone ever seen this? Opus X sexy time!

Some grat pictures, thanks for posting the link. I loved the baseball bat Opus in the middle top fun box, and it's good to know they freeze their cigars at 30 below too.

Re: Does the weather dictate what you smoke?

I choose cigars more on what I need. If I had a bad cigar, I have my go to cigars that I know will be good. If it's been a long day, I like to relax with a nice lancero. If I'm short on time, time...

Re: Vacume sealing Box

I've actually tried MRN's recommended method of speeding up fermentation with a box of CC Punch Punch's that had a very strong amonia smell. Half the box stayed in the box, the other half went into...

Re: Vacume sealing Box

The problem with vaccum sealing is that it seems to screw with the cigar. Cigars need oxygen, they need to breathe, and while most NC's are already well aged, they still age a bit more. If storage is...
