Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

Regular Larceny is one of my weekly bottles. That barrel proof is great too. I’ve seen it a couple places around here.

I would love to try that Old Forrester 1924. I've seen it around a couple times here in MN but couldn't pull the trigger.

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

Got a fiver of Punch Bareknuckles on a whim and lit one up this afternoon while firing up the grill for the first time this season. It was a better cigar than I expected and I think I might have to...

Re: What did you have for dinner 2nite???

Smoked a mini pork belly today. Came out beautifully. Eating slices now and putting the rest on tacos with coleslaw.https://i.imgur.com/7QRQuJ5l.jpeg

THE BEST!

I used to bartend and I love muddling some fresh jalapenos and tossing them in the shaker and then mixing the marg with the peppers. Makes such a good margarita!

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I've had that as well. It is pretty good stuff. If I remember right, there are two or three different variations and the one I was recommended was goof.

One fiver Man O War San Andreas, AJ blended sticks and some Punch Bareknuckles. I don’t know why, but those looked tasty to me.

Nice! I've got a Blind Man's Bluff I just found deep in the back of one of my humis. Now I get to try a Caldwell!

Re: Show your latest NC purchase IV

You are snatching up all those Hautes! I better pick some up before they all end up in your humidors! :r

I picked up a fiver of Man O War Abomination toros. Found the on my never-ending quest...

Re: Colibri Rally

Judging by the pics of it I've found online it doesn't look any different on the inside than any other humidor. If it were me I'd season it like I normally would a new humi, otherwise you'll most...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I have the Blantons ranked in that order from my experience as well. It's sad that Blantons gets the hate that it does, but I get it. It's certainly because it's so sought after (mostly because of...

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

Snow’s gone and so is the wife and kids. Nothing better than a fire and a cigar. One of my old staples, Brickhouse Maduro.

Cannot believe we’ve had a total of 7.5 inches of snow where I am in MN. ...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

A few years ago one of my best friends moved to Missoula and I was just getting into bourbon and had a different friend go on a hunting trip out west and found a couple bottles of Blantons. So I...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I agree, but it is MSRP. Just have to find one of the few remaining honest and reputable stores.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

They did say they were starting to see some of the harder to find bottles showing up more and more lately. So hopefully they are finally starting to make more or the craze is wearing down a bit.

They don't have those all the time. They just got all their allocated bottles in and everyone on their bourbon buying list got to make one pick. I was just saying that it's nice that when they do...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

It's really bad right now. That's why I like my store so much. I got my Stagg JR for $60, they had Weller SR, 107 and Single Barrell for $39 each, Eagle Rare for $39, Blantons for $60. Basically...
