Re: Graycliff Hotel - worth it?

I went to the Graycliff Hotel on a cruise stop, and I enjoyed it. I enjoy Graycliff cigars, so it was a must-stop for me. The grounds alone are worth seeing, and they do have a world-class wine and...

Re: Mild to Mediums worth trying

For a nice creamy mild but interesting smoke, I haven't found a better one than the La Aurora Preferido Connecticut #1 ( 6x58 perfecto). I've been snatching them up on Cigar Monster for about $4 -...

Re: Any Four Kicks or Jon Huber fans out there

I've been following this company and the release of their first brand of cigars. I've been getting their newsletter email since before they launched. I just haven't had a chance to try the cigar...

Re: Absinthe Afternoon

Yeah, what the hell. You're right. 4 Sazeracs at the Roosevelt in New Orleans costs $50on their own. It seemed like several of the nicer bars in New Orleans were using a brand called "Herbsaint...

Re: Review: Stinky Car Ashtray

Overall, this is a great product. It looks great, is functional, and does what it is supposed to do. After the initial learning curve of adjusting the pinchers and using the cigar band to protect...

Re: Review: Stinky Car Ashtray

However, once I played around with the tension of the pinchers, and then positioned the cigar in place so that the pinchers held the band of the cigar to protect the wrapper, it worked just great !

Re: Review: Stinky Car Ashtray

The "pinchers" that hold the cigar took a little experimenting to get them right. At first, they pinched too much, and actually tore the Connecticut wrapper a bit. I was able to squeeze them to...

Re: Review: Stinky Car Ashtray

The cap opens up and there is a built-in two prong "pinchers", for lack of a better description, which holds the cigar, and also the familiar Stinky cigar plate, or holder. Again, the quality is...

Re: Absinthe Afternoon

I picked up a preference for the Sazerac cocktail on several visits to New Orleans. I'm looking for a less expensive brand of Absinthe that I would use only for making a Sazerac. I didn't want to...
