Re: NHL 2013 Thread

A baseball has a lot more surface area than a puck and pucks travel faster, from different angles, at varying distances and hockey players knock the puck down or deflect it on a regular basis. Then...

Re: NHL 2013 Thread

You can play hockey drunk as hell, and I have, but only after you have gained the ability to skate, puck handle and generally know how to play the game. ALL hockey skills are unnatural...almost all...

Re: Quesada Oktoberfest Bavarian

To me these taste like a coffee infused ale...If I drink anything with these, it's water because these are soo darn good by themselves!

Re: Show your latest NC purchase III!

Wow, number 4s! Haven't seen them too often recently!

I haven't had one but I'm a huge fan of the number 5!

Re: Your most valued/rare cigar is......?

Honestly, I have some HTF cigars that I've bought that have little real value to me, what they're worth $10-18? whatever...The truly valuable are the gifts I've received from friends that mean the...

Re: The gears are turning, I need some oil.

I'd go with a wine cooler if I had the money... but this is a good idea if you already had the stuff lying around, imo. For the seal on the tubes, you could rig split rubber hose into a grommet and...

Re: Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter

I've heard GREAT things about them but I've never used one. Personally, I'd pay the extra $4 for a Xikar X8 because I love mine and would buy a backup(in case I lost one) before I bought anything...

Re: Where to find Ronson Jetlite?

Actually there is a 1-year warranty on them.

What I find is that some have different tolerances, only staying lit in a large "flame" and some allow a much smaller flame. Turn the screw to adjust...

Re: Looking for creamy and smooth

Seems based on the cigars that you like that you're a bit more diverse than you think you are.

Off the top of my head I would suggest:
Fuente Hemingway
Brickhouse(suuuper creamy)
Ambos Mundos...

Re: Cigar sniper says they're calling it quits

I think ALL of those kind of "auction" sites should be shut down. Even if they aren't ghost bidding to make sure they're always making a profit you still basically are getting other people to pay for...

Re: Cloth band Olivas? Anybody smoke them?

What Joe said. They've been discontinued for a long time, from what I've heard they are VERY good. I've never had one myself but if you don't like them you will sell them in no time.

Re: Would you guys buy these?

I'd be most worried about how they've been stored and treated...that being said, with the cutter it's a good deal but you'll have some rockets in there.

I would NOT but it's not a terrible...

Re: (PRE-RELEASE) Tatuaje Lil'Drac

Viaje's much smaller Super Shot is about the same price...and here you will get multiple blends!

I like that they're smaller than the original monsters because it's just too hot outside to be...

Re: Illusione MJ12 v. LP no. 9

LOL!

By the way, I just thought of this but I would also lump the Tatuaje TAA into this conversation. I believe it is right up there with the LP9 as the best NC out there, both are absolute flavor...

Re: Smoking in Hawaii?

Everyone is pretty relaxed on the islands so just stay away from the touristy areas and you should be fine. At worst, ask a local they will give you any info you need and more.

My Dad was from...
