Re: Smoke eater for sunroom

I ended up getting a Smoke Stomper from Get the Smoke Out. Its a decent unit, works well. Nothing is going to be able to handle 3-4 people smoking while watching the game with the windows closed,...

Smoke eater for sunroom

Hey folks,
I just enclosed my porch, it's about 350 sq ft with a vaulted ceiling. I'm looking to get a smoke eater to allow me to smoke in there without making it look like a Cheech and Chong...

Re: Best spot for a cigar and drink in Vegas

Thanks guys! Good suggestions. Any recommendations for sports books? I remember you used to be able to sit back and watch a game (with a bet) with a good drink and cigar all over, but not sure if...

Best spot for a cigar and drink in Vegas

I'm heading to Vegas in a few days to chill out and have some fun. Besides Casa Fuente, where are some good places to chill out and have a smoke and drink on the strip. Thinking afternoon spots to...

Re: First Firearm Thread.

I second the crossbreed recommendation. Great holsters. I also have a milt sparks for the 1911 and it is a work of art, but the 7 month wait is cruel.

Re: First Firearm Thread.

And the $50 stripped lowers are back. Last time around I picked up a few. Very good quality lowers for dirt cheap prices.

Re: Converting house to LED light bulbs

Found this article from LSI about using our LRP-38 PAR lamps in museum applications and color fading. You should be good to go.

Re: Converting house to LED light bulbs

I doubt that the LED emitters would cause any harm. One advantage to LEDs is the lack of UV or IR, as compared to std bulbs, reducing fading and food spoiling. Additionally, with high CRI, you get...

Re: NC with Boli PC profile?

:tpd:

Seriously, a thread about findings a $8-12 cigar that might come close to tasting as good as a $5 Cuban seems a little silly.

Personally, I have not found a NC that could fit the flavor...

Re: First Firearm Thread.

I love my GP100 357. It's my bedroom closet gun. Doesn't have the trigger of a S&W, but its acceptable for me and its built like a tank.

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

Not for me. The only time my back is sore is if I don't do any exercise for a month or so. Then I am more prone to get a sore back, but frankly I deserve it for being lazy!

My surgery was to cut...

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

To feel a million times better after surgery. If you're like me.

For many months, I couldn't sit and couldn't bend over enough to touch my knees. Immediately after surgery I could touch my toes,...

Re: Budding audiophile/vinyl questions

One other point: If your looking at equipment, don't be afraid of low wattage tube stuff. It can be finicky sometimes (tube biasing, etc.) and require certain types of speakers to really sing, but...

Analog is fantastic. I just sold my tube amp (Jolida 302b), but still enjoy my Music Hall mmf-9 table. Once you spend a little time listening you truly appreciate how much smoother and warmer...

Re: First Firearm Thread.

^^^ Agreed.

I highly recommend a 1911. Carry it for a few days unloaded (triple check) in condition 1 and try your hardest to get the hammer to fall. I was surprised that all the abuse I put...
