Re: Travel Humi (cigar caddy)

My concern isn't that I won't receive what I order, but rather that they have no need for all of that information, particularly the SSN. With a credit card number, a birthdate, and the last 4 digits...

Re: Travel Humi (cigar caddy)

I was about to order one, but the registration page required my driver's license number and the last 4 digits of my SSN. Seems fishy to me.

Re: Ever Known A Bigger Jerk?

How does a person end up in the 99.99% percentile on the GRE when the ranking is nowhere near that fine-grained?

Re: A-Fraud Tests Positive for Steroid Use

Yeah, and we can thank the players' union for that. With a steroid ban but no testing or penalties, any player who did the right thing and didn't take steroids was at a disadvantage.

Re: A-Fraud Tests Positive for Steroid Use

I don't know what type of steroids A-Rod was using or whether he had a prescription, but MLB banned steroids in 1991, and anabolic steroids were classified as controlled substances in 1990.

Re: It's happening

Maybe not, but between the costs of buying the sites (I don't know how much he paid for CS, CL, and CR, but his $50k offer for CigarPass is public knowledge), the "puff.com" domain name, graphic...

Re: It's happening

Ah, heck: "You have been banned for the following reason: drama

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

Probably because I dinged joncaputo's RG for one of his less-than-friendly posts . . .

Re: It's happening

If he's really using the number of members as a selling point for advertisers, knowing full well that some of the accounts are deliberately inaccessible, then he may be committing fraud.

Re: It's happening

This happened to me when I asked Jon Caputo to back up some allegations he made against another board owner. (In Jon's defense, it was later made clear that it was Daniel who scambled my password.)

Re: It's happening

I had AdBlock on the first time I loaded puff.com, so I didn't realize how bad it was. As an alleged professional, doesn't jcaputo realize that Google Adsense isn't allowed on tobacco-centric...

Re: Hard to believe I have not smoked since 1/1/09

The bigger one was 5 lbs 10 ounces, and the little one was 4 lb 6 ounces. Fortunately, they're gaining weight quickly and doing well.

Congrats to you too! I was shocked when I found out that we...

Re: Hard to believe I have not smoked since 1/1/09

In the summer, I smoke almost daily. Maybe 4-5 cigars a week on average. In the coldest part of the winter, I smoke 1 a week if I'm lucky.

Re: Hard to believe I have not smoked since 1/1/09

I've only had one cigar and half a bowl of Haddo's Delight since December 19th. Why? Well, these guys (Dexter and Maxwell) were born on the 19th, and it's been a bit hectic here (in a good way!). ...

Re: Any legitamate cigar stores in Tijuana?

There's a La Casa del Habano on Avenida Revolucion. There are also countless shops selling glass-top Cohibos, so be careful.

Re: ok here is a dumb newbie ?

Some of the ligero-packed NCs are much stronger than any CC I've had. CCs have a unique taste, but their strength varies from mild to full.
