Re: Changing the oil

Awesome! So glad my step dad went through all the trouble to teach me to do things myself. She may not realize it now, but she's lucky.

Re: Ronson Jetlite still around?

I just picked a couple up at Walgreens or Rite-Aid. Can't remember which but I think drug stores still have them.

No pictures, but I want to make sure any newcomers understand, PORK LOIN is my favorite use of sous vide hands down.

Did a simple bbq rub tonight, 3 hours at 135, and seared off. The best pork...

Re: New Tax Bill - Are you getting relief?

It's going to be a real toss up for a lot of people. I think those who had a lot of exemptions (for example contractors) are going to be hit pretty hard by this. But for those who are more "regular"...

Re: Second Firearm Thread...

I took advantage of this and picked up my first shotgun this week! Less than $200 for a 870 12 Gauge. Should serve me well as I get my hunting license and begin down that path.

Frog Morton on the Bayou

It's rare that I put something in my pipe that blows me away. I have lot of stuff that I like, but few that make a lasting impression.

Whilst in Chicago on a work trip I had to make a pilgrimage...

Re: Looking For A Grill...

I worked at a high end grill manufacturer, their grills started at $13,000. Even if I had unlimited money I would probably still go for a Weber. When I moved out of the city, I was gifted a Weber...

Christened this in with some vintage Anniversary Kake from H&H, my all time favorite pipe tobacco. I think I'll be enjoying this pipe for many many years to come.

Plus the girlfriend doesn't mind...

Stopped by my favorite tobacco shop of all time, Iwan Ries in Chicago. Wasn't planning on picking up a new pipe, just some new tins, and some stuff for our upcoming secret santa. But I got talking...
