Do you have a window? A dual fan exhaust vent should be your primary. Best to remove as much smoke as possible while still able to enjoy the cigar. Treat whatever remains.

I rinse cigars under the faucet every now and then. These cigars right out of the humidor too. Make sure to not get the foot wet. I usually do it to tannic cigars I want to smooth the flavors out....

It does. I humidify the basement 2/3's the year due to the wine and cured meats. Currently no meat, but the wine needs the humidity.
