Re: Opening a Cigar Lounge

Things are progressing nicely on the lease. Build out should start soon. My walk in will hold about 135 boxes of cigars which about 80 more than anyone else in town.

Re: RUSH: R40 Tour

Ouch!

Check out the remastered Vapor Trails, Snakes and Arrows, Clockwork Angels. Those are albums of the modern era where Rush returned to more straight forward crunchy hard rock.

Re: RUSH: R40 Tour

That was a pretty good interview at least when Geddy wasn't interrupted. I think Rush fans just need to adjust their expectations of the band. The dudes are in their 60's slowing down is just fine,...

Re: RUSH: R40 Tour

For a long time I've wanted to see them at their home arena but that probably won't happen. Let us know if you go to the Toronto show.

RUSH: R40 Tour

Anybody excited for what is most likely the band's farewell tour? I'm going to opening night in Tulsa OK and probably some NYC/Newark show with friends later on.

I'm sad yet stoked for the show....

Re: Today's Pairing

Lease negotiations fell through at the first location. We’re already working on the new location. I’ll let you know when the ink on the lease is dry.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today VI?

I had an El Gran Rey Curivari, it was described as a medium perhaps medium-full. I found it to be a pleasant, tasty smoke and well constructed cigar. I'd smoke another fo'sho.

Re: Opening a Cigar Lounge

That is what I'd hope that a selection of quality sticks would over come humidor size. I can always expand my selection later. I can't open if I constantly blow my budget.

Hoping to sell my first...

Re: Opening a Cigar Lounge

Opinions please. So the humidor I can afford from the numbers in my budget holds about 135 boxes of cigars. Is that enough to start with in a community of 50,000?

Re: Cuba relations thawing

I chuckled about that when I saw his mouth empty of teeth on the news broadcast. Can you spot two interesting items in the photo?

As for CC vs NC, I'd like to finally be able to judge my self....

Re: Cuba relations thawing

The embargo has been obvious failure. The USA has a policy of changing China through engagement, yeah I kind of just rolled my eyes. Perhaps real change to Cuba can come from engagement. Raul Castro...

Re: Cuba relations thawing

So basically the best way for Americans to enjoy Cuban cigars will be trips booked on Priceline on a Cuban cigar tour?

Re: Cuba relations thawing

This is dicey, one can see a future of Cuban cigars sold in the USA. Certainly today's announcement is a small step but the Cuban-American lobby has a strong voice. With out getting political one can...

Re: SoA Season 7

I found the first point funny.

What I find interesting is that viewers knew Gemma was dead the moment Jax entered the garden yet I was surprised and moved when the shot actually fires. Just weird...

Re: Opening a Cigar Lounge

I realize a walk-in humidor is not just about size but I'd like to ask the assemblage here. How many boxes of cigars does a respectable walk-in humidor need to hold in your opinion?

Re: Today's Pairing

James, I'm going to have to sample that pairing some time, sounds delish!

This morning a CAO Brazilia and sweet coffee, a damn fine cigar akin to good espresso.
