Re: Do you inhale at all?

Never. Sure maybe small amounts of second smoke may make its way into my lungs but not enough to notice. It seems just about everyone knows someone that thinks smoking any kind of tobacco includes...

Re: Gran Habano Vintage

I had a weird taste revelation while smoking one of these the other night. I am sure it is just me but it was some what like an Antano with out the gut punch and a slight Dominican influence. YMMV.

Re: Padron 2000 aging conundrom

I have only smoked a box each of the natural and the maduro. Both boxes were purchased February 2009. Down to my last one of each. The only reason I held on to them for so long was a little bit of...

Re: Gran Habano Vintage

The Vintage 2002? I have burned through half a bundle in about 3 months. I think they are pretty unique in flavor. Not sure I could say exactly what flavors, but I really enjoy them when I know that...

Re: Flor de Oliva Robusto - Why'd I wait so long!

I figured a resurrected thread would be best for some questions about this particular cigar line. I am almost finished with the first bundle of these I have yet to try, the Sumatra blend. I was...

Re: Good nonalcoholic drink pairing

I usually enjoy my cigars with Dr Pepper but I gave this a try with an afternoon smoke and thought it was great. Not too sweet and doesn't linger too much on the palette.

Re: Di Fazio Maduro (Dyed Wrapper, *gasp*!)

Great review. Thats too bad about the wrapper. It has me kinda curious about dyed wrappers. Maybe you can help with some quick questions. It makes sense to me that the dye is used for appearance? So...

Re: Teak & Ancient Kauri Humidor

I enjoy seeing all your work. Fantastic. I have some teak pieces that are large enough to make a fair sized desk top humi and have been hesitant because of the strong smell. Is that something that...

Re: Nicaraguan Fillers

I'll put my :2 in. Surprised no one has mentioned AJ Fernandez. All the blends he makes that I enjoy are Nicaraguan filler but the wrappers are usually Ecuadorian grown. Man O War, Sol Cubana Cuban...

+1 for Fuente and Ashton Classic. I think Oliva G or Conneticut Reserve are good choices, too. From my experience all have great consistency in constuction and flavor.:2

Re: First A Fuente Sungrown

I like the concentration of flavors from tapered vitolas. I'm accumulating quite a list to try from a brand that didn't command much of my attention. Just checked CI's website and the Chateaus are...

Re: First A Fuente Sungrown

Thanks for the quick replies. I always seem to forget about Taboo cigars, which is wierd considering the praise they receive. Definitely food for thought. Have yet to try the RP sungrown. I'll...

First A Fuente Sungrown

I am usually a biased shopper from personal experience as I tend to favor Nicaraguan tobacco. Just recently I have tried to give Dominicans another shot at my regular rotation. I have limited...

Re: Arganese ML3 Robusto - Arrrrgh Ya Matey's!

Great pics and review. Pretty strange that 3x Ligero didn't have the typical flavors. I guess there is nothing wrong with a cigar tasting like one.:confused:Hope you have better experience next time....

Re: Don Pepin Garcia blue generosos

I completely agree. I have yet to hang on to any Pepin sticks for very long, but the Cuban Classics are always great for me, even straight from the B&M. The Blues are tasty though. Nice review and...

Re: My son is fascinated by cigars!

Something to think about-if and when you decide to have children, buy a special box from your child's birth year and age them till the the time is right to share the experience if possible.:2
