Re: What is the oldest stick you have?

I don't have any old smokes, and have never really seen any really old ones -- but there's a store I went into at Caesar's Palace that had some pretty old sticks. I don't remember specifics, but...

Re: Beginner Questions (Ask Them Here!)

I have a good quality (expensive) cigar that I had clipped at the store but ever ended up smoking. How long can I reasonably expect it to stay decent kept in my 65% humidor?
Would it help it's...

Re: Opus X belicoso XXX

I smoked an Opus X at the Casa Fuente bar in Vegas in August. It was a FANTASTIC cigar -- BUT... I had serious burn issues too. In fact after about 2/3s of the cigar it just went out, and wouldn't...

Re: What was the cigar that started it all for you

About a year and a half ago my brother in law gave me a small cigarillo sized flavored cigar (a decent one, not a White Owl type) and it was OK. Then I tried a Macanudo Gold Court cigarillo. That...

History Lesson first:
Twins Smoke Shop in Londonderry (and Hooksett) New Hampshire has brought back the 7-20-4 cigar, originally produced by the R.G. Sullivan company of Manchester, NH. R.G....

Re: iPhone Cigar App RELEASED!

don't get me wrong - $3.99 is more than fair! I was just suggesting a reference only version. But yes, I guess you're right - the reference alone is worth it even without using the database

Re: Las Vegas Cigar lounges

Excellent! Just got back from Casa Fuente, I had an Opus X and a mojito that I probably paid too much for, but that is a good ciga bar anyway.

Scottishsmoker, based on my playoff schedule now,...

Re: iPhone Cigar App RELEASED!

Looks great -- but my humidor isn't big enough to bother with this sort of app. But here's an idea (apologies if it's already been suggested) -- how about a "light" version that just includes the...

Re: Las Vegas Cigar lounges

Sounds great! I'll be flying out there this weekend (the 23rd) and staying through the 29th.
I'll shoot you a PM when I see what our tournament schedule looks like, then I'll have decent idea of...

Las Vegas Cigar lounges

Hi All

I'm going to be in Vegas in a couple of weeks and am wondering if any of you have some recommendations. Looking for a nice, relaxing place with a good selection of sticks and preferably...

Re: Any thoughts on Edge Star 28 Thermoelectric Co

I've got that same unit. I use it for wine though, not cigars. I've had it for about 2 years without any problems. Of course I'm not monitoring the temp as closely as I would in a humidor, and...

Re: Like Patron silver? Try Hacienda Tequila!

I currently have a bottle of each. Both are better than their respective Patron counterparts.

The biggest problem with Patron is not that it's a bad tequila -- it's not -- it's simply that it...

Re: Like Patron silver? Try Hacienda Tequila!

Another excellent "better-than-Patron-and-cheaper" tequila I've found is Casa Noble. Usually about $40 compared to Patron's $60. Of course there are LOTS of Tequilas that are better and cheaper...

Re: American Poolplayers Association

Yep - I've been playing APA 8 ball for about 3.5 years. I'm currently a SL 4. My team made it to the Vegas Nationals in 2006 and we came in around 125 out of 700+ teams, if I remember correctly. ...

Similarly, I thought the "McDonalds as pizza toppings" pizza was, while really bad for you, strangely attractive. I would definitely eat it.

These are pretty good. I've had a couple. Seems like a fairly consistent brand.
I actually met Jesus Fuego at a local B&M last year. Nice guy.

Unless their prices have gone up, I think these...

Re: Chose your truck: Ford, Chevy, Dodge or Toyota

All three of my trucks above went to 170K miles or more. The Chevy was at 225K when I sold it. They guy I sold it to still has it and it's around 250K now.

I'll grant you fit and finish on the...
