Re: Rant: Cigar Bums

Re: Cat-eye: Different kind of cut?
Well, Finck's is located in San Antonio, Texas, so I figured maybe someone who lives in Texas might have seen one of them and could give us a report.

Re: Cat-eye: Different kind of cut?
Well, that's what I wondered. The pic in their catalog looks clearer than the online pic; it looks to me like the cut it leaves was more of a "slit," maybe somewhat like a cat looks when his eyes do...

Re: Cat-eye: Different kind of cut?
I looked further and found it on their website. They call it a Super Combo 3 in 1 cutter. http://www.finckcigarcompany.com/products/group/category/cutter_-_super_combo_3-in-1

Re: Cat-eye: Different kind of cut?
My scanner is acting up. I'll try taking one with digital camera and see if it comes out. It is in their latest catalog, if anyone has it.
Hang on and see what I can do.
Also, everybody,...

Cat-eye: Different kind of cut?
I'm not familiar with this one. Maybe someone who uses this technique can fill me in.
Saw a cutter in a catalog (Finck's) that is a hybrid of sorts; it makes guillotine cuts on each side with...

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
Further, if I am not mistaken, the Mayorga Coffee company is also the same company that makes Mayorga Cigars. Check your last J.R.'s catalog- both their coffee and the cigars are shown there. I'd...

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
RE: The coffee I got at Sam's.
It's been my experience that Sam's won't keep anything nearly that long if it's not selling. They are not bashful to get rid of it and chalk it up to experience. I...

Re: COFFEE: What are you drinking?
Nicaraguan Antigua - very good coffee. Got it at local Sam's; I guess they are closing it out. Whole beans 2.5 pounds for $4.88! I bought four bags of it, so I'm in beans for a while now. I love to...

Re: Pictures of you smoking!
If you've ever used your BBQ fork to "nub" a cigar, you could be a redneck!

Perdomo Fresco Maduro Robusto (in progress) brrr.... didn't see this one coming: I'm wearing my hooded sweatshirt for the first time this fall; unseasonably cool!
