Also, I've heard from various people that the Xi3's have more "weight" or "heft" and feel more solid in the hand when compared to an Xi1 is that true???

Without the ice packs though, the temperature in my room where I store my sticks will hit over 80F easily.
That's why I bought the cooler and ice packs to try and cool everything down in the first...

Well the one near the foot didn't go away but I was able to scrape off a bit of the one near the band.
Had I tried to scrape the rest off, the wrapper would have torn a bit.
