Re: Virus Help!!!!

We got this one at work. Nasty bugger. According to our IT guy (All Hail IT Guy!) it's not a virus. It's malware. He used a program called Malwarebytes to remove it. Good luck!

Re: Got a medical question? Let me stretch my bra

Hmm...very interesting. Mrs. Fumes is a grad student and has been spending an inordinate amount of time sitting on a very worn out couch with her laptop and several large stacks of papers. I...

Re: Got a medical question? Let me stretch my bra

This is a long shot, but any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Every once in a while my wife has crippling lower back spasms that are triggered by simple things like bending over or getting out...

Re: "true" maduros

Padron maduro. It's hard to tell the difference between the natural and maduro because the natural is sun grown and the maduro is completely, well, natural. The wrapper shades are really close. But...

Re: Best premium beginners cigar

Ashton Classic
Avo or The Griffins
Cabaiguan natural (a little heavier but still mild and oh so good)
ERDM Choix Supreme (if you're going that way)

Re: roaster upgrade time, am I ok?

Another caveat about the Behmor -- anything more than 150 -200 grams of dry process, high-chaff beans and you're running a serious risk of fire in the roaster. The chaff collection system quite...

Re: What's the last movie you watched?

Tokyo! (Three short films -- the second one, "Merde," is hilarious.)

Re: Storage Tins

I figure the beans are cool enough once the cooling cycle is finished. I just dump em straight from the drum into the SM tin can. (Barbaric, I know, but there are only so many hours in the day.) The...

Re: New and hilarious flavors!

There's a Russian cigar mag called "Cigar Clan" that uses this descriptor quite often... I'm still not sure exactly which animal they're talking about. Civet cat?

Re: I don't get Don Pepin Garcia

It's interesting that you like the 601 Black, because that's still a fairly potent smoke, but for a lighter side of Pepin try Vegas Cubanas. Cabaiguan is even better, though a little pricier.

Clever Coffee Dripper

I'm very impressed with this device (http://www.sweetmarias.com/weblog/?p=365). It's really simple and works surprisingly well -- the flavor and concentration are at least as good as my french press,...

Re: Pinar Del Rio Seleccion Robusto

Nice pics! I can't see that much detail with my own eyeballs. I have one of these in the humi that I got with a sampler... think I'll have to try it now. Thanks for the review!

I Am Cuba. An old Soviet Mosfilm movie -- badly scripted commie propaganda -- but gorgeous cinematography.

Re: Is this an ok roaster?

:tpd:

An excellent first roaster. Small batch size and noisy, but still a great way to start out. After a while you learn how to judge the roast from the smell more than the sound. I still use...

Re: How do you brew?

I've been using the "Clever Coffee Dripper" from SM -- a nice way to brew a cup that is more concentrated than regular drip coffee but without the sediment left by a French press.
