Sorry if I'm being thick, but are you only ordering the etched glasses if you hit 240 orders?

Re: Scotch/Whiskey Glass GB

Although interestingly at the master tastings I attended in Islay they used what we're essentially tumblers.

Re: Scotch/Whiskey Glass GB

I was being flippant. I had also had a couple whiskies since I had the first half of the day off.

I use Glencairn glasses almost exclusively. I do have a couple of other neat glasses that I would...

Re: What are you listening to?

Dávila 666.

Puerto Rican garage rock. It's absolutely brilliant and like going through a time warp with the Stooges, Animals, MC5, Zombies and Meńudo.

You need to listen to this. Just trust me.

Re: Scotch/Whiskey Glass GB

I have a bottle. I have a glass. Problem solved.

To be honest, the only reason I use the glass is that it's frowned upon in polite society to pull from the bottle.

For the record, I always put...

Re: Scotch/Whiskey Glass GB

I need whisky glasses like I need a hole in the head. I've got loads still packed in boxes in our attic, but an etched Cigar Asylum one piques my interest.

I'm in for 2 of the etched; of course...

Re: The Black Donnellys

I only watched one episode and it was at my in-laws in Madrid, so it was dubbed in Spanish. Always an amusing experience.

I think I followed it well enough and was curious to see more but never...

Warren Zevon

Mastodon

Murder...

Re: NC recommendations for while I'm in the States?

I smoked a Tatuaje brown label and another Illusione tonight. The Tatuaje was damned nice. While I at first thought the Illusione wasn't doing it for me, it really grew on me. I don't think it's as...

Re: NC recommendations for while I'm in the States?

I'm in Reno now, fat on Mexican food and dumb on microbrewed IPAs so I'm happy. Picked up a few cigars at Fumare and smoked an Illusione 68. It's a perfectly constructed cigar with a very nice...

Re: NC recommendations for while I'm in the States?

Thanks for the tips, everyone. Will definitely be checking out the Illusiones as I'll be going to FUMARE in Reno and they seem to be Dion's baby.

Will see what else from the recommends are...

Re: NC recommendations for while I'm in the States?

I have heard lots of good things over the years about Don Pepin Garcia, but I never tried one. Will definitely look for some.

I did have an Oliva V and liked it but can't remember the flavour now....

NC recommendations for while I'm in the States?

I smoked NCs for years before my first Habano. In the last 5 or 6 years I started to get more and more into Habanos and spent less time with non-Cubans. In the past 3 years since moving to London,...

Re: 28 Bottle Vinotemp-air circulation?

I use several 28 bottle wine coolers but they aren't Vinotemp (Some British company/thing I don't understand but they do a great job).

Air circulation is well and good, especially when it's empty...

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?

Had a 4-man herf today with some cycling buddies. Very happy I've encouraged cigars here. :)

Smoked a Hoyo les Dieux, Punch Punch, Trini Reyes and Monte 2.

Re: The Official Soccer/Football/Futbol/Calcio thread

My football desires are simple.

I don't want West Ham relegated.
I don't want Man U to win.
I want the U.S. or Spain to win the World Cup.

2 out of 3 are definitely doable.

Druturn, found my Paris boxes.
