Re: Ask The Rabbi!!

Here's one that's always been on my mind:

Do you consider Jews as an ethnic group?

Whenever I bring up my ethnicity I say that I am Jewish and Russian (my father is an ethnic Russian), but most...

Re: Cigar excise tax broken down state by state

Last few times they tried to raise the tax on cigars, snuff, and pipe tobacco it failed. It is in the proposed 2009-2010 budget though. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Re: Tat Black - I don't get it.

I've had the corona gorda and the robusto from a friend about a month ago. Good cigar, a little too strong/harsh for my taste.

The Cabaiguan blend is where it's at for me from Pete Johnson.

Re: Pepin Whores Re-Unite!!!1

Low humidity. 60-65% does fine. I keep mine between 60-63%.

Re: Pepin Whores Re-Unite!!!1

I've smoked several. Excellent construction, smooth mild flavor, but I have to agree that there is nothing that really stands out about these smokes.

Re: Question for Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Smo

I can see what you mean. They both have a very hearty tobacco taste, some people might describe as "earthy". The JdN has a bit more sweetness to me though.

Re: CAO America

I've had several and was not too impressed compared to some of their other smokes..

As for other CAOs, the Brazilia is nice and the Gold is a great mild smoke and I would even smoke the Italia...

Re: Steelers fans check in...

That's a good point. Only Mr. Lewis and Mr. Suggs have been bad boys to my knowledge. The Bungles are much, much worse. I'm looking forward to a Baltimore-Pittsburgh match-up in the playoffs,...

Re: Steelers fans check in...

I didn't think the towel thing was that big of a deal. I think they'll get enough motivation because of the way they played and lost.

Re: Favorite Cigars that You'd Never Smoke?

Re: a love hate relationship with winter.

Sometimes you just have to tough it out. Dress warm, bring out some nice hot coffee or tea, or a nice cold beer :ss, and try to enjoy your smoke.
