Re: Cigars in Cinema

This is really funny and quite amazing. I was sure I has a new one... weird science 1985. Nope... ALREADY ON THE LIST. Wow.

Re: Crushed.

I'm amazed at some of the great advice here... but figure I'd put in my two cents.

I know from experience that the good times in life can only feel so good when you've fought through the tough...

Re: What are you reading?

I guess I should have mentioned that I like the book so far. I'm one who's been searching for something comparable to Tolkien for some time. This book tries... we'll see...

Re: What are you reading?

I'm reading Magician: Apprentice (Riftwar Saga) by Raymond Feist

I do most of my reading while smoking cigars on the back deck. Doesn't get much better than that!

Re: What are you reading?

The Road is a good one... Read that a little while ago. A little slow, but I liked it. Never did see the movie...

Re: Coleman 70-Quart Xtreme Cooler for $35.00 + free shipping

I had one of these and ended up returning it and going the Fridagdor route. Very happy with the decision... much easier access to my cigars, an much prettier to look at... even if it was a good deal...

Re: Mini cabinet conversion (Project Thread)

That looks amazing! :dr

I'd be curious to hear how well it holds the RH. What are you going to use in there... beads, ?

Re: How did the weekend go?

Spent time with the family.... Did some boating, fishing, etc. Fireworks.... Smoked a couple good cigars along the way. Overall a good holiday weekend. And it's not over yet because I took this...

Re: Beetle Outbreak!

Temecula, CA!? That must have been an awesome place to live. Just curious, what did you do there?

Sorry to hear about the beetles man. Good luck with squashing the problem :)

Re: Humidor Question

Totally agree with this... a bit on the drier side.... 65% is ideal IMHO.

Re: Anyone have this?

This humidor looks amazing. I can't believe it really. Although... that kind of money could buy a lot of good smokes too... ;)

Re: Suggestions for a cabinet humi

The problem with cab humidors in general is that they don't seal nearly as well as a more standard humidor... unless you do the fridgador.

Re: Suggestions for a cabinet humi

Absolutely true. I've got an Edgestar with Chasden Drawers... about a year ago... couldn't be happier. No humidor can come close to the humidity control / seal of a fridgador!

Re: Blazer Torch Question

That sounds like a real pain. I just got a Blazer CG-001 and there's no safety or anything... it works really well. Highly recommended.

Re: Best premium beginners cigar

+1 for the RyJ Reserva Real. This is a great, mild smoke with good, creamy flavor. I would also recommend a Don Diego... nice, mild cigars.

Re: How much do you spend on cigars?

Yes! Exactly! Thank you. Put another way, wanted to see if others were as crazy hooked as I am. Put yet another way, I was looking for others to help me feel better about my spending too damn...

Re: How much do you spend on cigars?

First 'real' answer. Thanks for the honesty.

I wasn't sure about asking this sort of thing... and I guess I maybe shouldn't have. I guess it may be almost like asking how much money someone...
