Yeah, I think so too but the owner said: it lain in the box and has never been touched for 30 years. He may be right, I have no idea.

Thank for the email of Dupont NYC, it's very helpful. I got the answer from them, said "This lighter is was made in end of 70 beginning of eights l2 lighter"

Hi,

Could anyone help me identify this St. Dupont lighter? I's Black Chinese Lacquer with documentation and original silk blue box. The owner said he got it on mid 70's and it has not been used...
