Talking to a store here about a 30-40 lever action Remington. I would like to gt the Henry in the same but the $300 price difference is killing me.

Very nice weapon. I too have wanted a Henry for a long time but the price is still a little above what I can justify.

Cmon over Sat and you can try both. I have used single barrel, OU and currently use an auto and all are fun its up to your own preference and your budget.

I have used midway in the past and had no issues but I would send teh whole thing back demand a refund or NEW parts. Make sure you have it in writing they will replace with new parts at no additional...

I have to agree Chrome keeps clean better and easier. However if you clean it right after you finish shooting its pretty easy to clean anyway and if you load your own you can choose a better quality...

I like the Veriforce but not the flash suppressor. Too big to be effective in my opinion.
If you go with a 20 inch barrel you should go for the AR-10 instead of AR-15. The 16 inch barrels produce...

I have been to two training events featuring Masaad Ayoob and he is a great wealth of practical knowledge on tactical shooting. I learn something new every time I meet him.

Muzzle loaders can be a lot of fun and if you hunt with them you tend to focus a little more knowing a second shot is 60 seconds away if your quick.

Anything with a straight wall or not bottle neck shape is pretty easy to load. If you start with new brass you should be able to get two or three reloads before the brass becomes measurably longer....
