Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

Believe it or not, I actually know that it's a Wheat Bourbon, I have no idea why I came out with Rye. I must have had a brain fart! I was so intent at commenting on the $1000 asking price that I lost...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

Well guys, I must apologize. The Pappy has all vanish, and today, I found out why.

I went to the three biggest liquor stores in the Las Vegas/Henderson Area. A Total Wine was one of them and that...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

Hey friends, there is a lot of Pappy on the shelves here in Southern Nevada. If you should ever want, I'd be happy to set you up, with what you want, if that year is available.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

Have any of you tried "Pike CreeK Whisky" from Canada?

It's becoming one of my new go to whiskeys lately. I first tried it a few months back, 80 proof and finished in Vintage Port Barrels. I am...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

WOW! WOW! WOW!

Top of the line bourbons.

I have been lucky enough to have sampled them all, several times each.

For what it's worth, IMHO, I favor the Stagg as my No. 1 choice, followed by...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

What are your 1st, 2nd & 3rd, best "New To You" Bourbons that you tried in 2010?

If you do not have 3, don't sweat it. Just one, or even two, will be fine.

Don't hesitate to elaborate if you'd...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I cannot find anything that supports this 100%, but I have to agree that if it's call a Bourbon, it had to be produce in Bourbon, County KY. Everything else, in that category, is either a Rye,...

As I recall, Booker being a Kentucky Bourbon. They used to have Batch Bourbons that were outstanding and could quickly knock you on your ass. If I recall, they were in the 120/125 proof range and...
