ok, when my voice returns to me, I will call the boswells and let them know we want pipe#4 (or something there about), 25 of them, half smooth, half rusticated.

I figure they'll be somewhere...

this may be the winner here

it captures the significance, and should fit

once the poll closes on the 4th, we'll look at everything and I'll call them back and talk for sure about the inscription

I like that, but this will be hand scribed on each pipe, I don't know that all of that will fit legibly

it'll say J.M. Boswell xx-xx-09 for sure, as it does on all of his pipes

the rest would...

this was my thought as well (even though I initially put 09 in my suggestions)

it will be dated with his signature, then we could have asylum, and the individual's initials
