Re: First Firearm Thread.
Occasionally, I still lurk every day. :)
A far cry off what I remember paying before all this sh!t. But I agree, take what you can get.
My damn S&W M&P will only shoot brass, so I've always...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
For what it's worth the Walther .22 is no better. Plenty of FTF, jams, and I hear dry firing it ruins the gun. I never shoot .22's anyways but yeah not impressed.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Same AR I have, did the mags fit out of the package or did you have to alter them? I bought mine 3 years ago or so and none of the mags would fit out of the box. I had to take a metal file to each...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
12 gauge isn't bad, I own a few of them. I've had several 100-115 pound women shoot them without a problem.
It's all about the stock you purchase, I've got a nice stock on the Remington 870 and...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I have the M&P AR-15. It's good, you'll just have to file down the lip on the PMAGS or else they won't fit. Other than that, no complaints.

My Conceal carry test with a 1940's-50's Browning Hi-Power. Second time shooting it at a new range. Kind of dimly lit but I believe...

Eh, FWIW...and I've owned a Glock (long gone now) and my brother currently owns one. So I've shot a few different Glocks and rented them at the range as well.....I share Larry's thoughts, Glocks...

Agreed, I use Wilson Combat mags in my VBOB as well. Never had them fail to fire.
The gun is amazing.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Sorry to hear it. It seems like I'll wait and get the Noveske. Looking at cans now.
I hear ya, the ammo isn't too bad at all. Especially for such a new caliber.

Well right now it seems from what I've read everyone likes the Noveske barrels. If you get the SBR 8" it's supposed to be one of the best on the market.
I just get annoyed that most of...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Kind of a long shot but has anyone converted their .223/5.56 AR into a .300 Blackout?
If so, barrel/silencer recommendations?

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I held the FN 5.7 and I did not like the size of the gun, just ridiculously huge.
The USP Compact Tactical was much more to my liking. Someday I'll have to get one and toss a can on it.
I too...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
That works with any gun, it's a neat trick but I don't like not being able to aim properly. Like you said it's painfully expensive depends on what kind of ammo you're shooting.
I dunno about the...
