Been real curious about the KC SB. A lot of bourbon snobs look down on Jim Beam products, (JB, KC, Basil, Bookers, etc). While regular JB sucks, I like KC. It has a different character that I like.

I just don't have the money to buy bottles anymore. I really had to convince myself to buy that Bulleit, haha. I drink way more beer (homebrew :) ), just have small pours of bourbon here and there....

Yea WSR > Jim Beam for sure. They are usually the same price. I've been wanting to try the small batch FR forever. Single Barrel is excellent IMO.

Weller Antique 107 comes to mind. If BT is about $23, the WA107 should be about $20. If you run across Weller 12 yr, get it. It's only $22 around here when it comes out.

Having a Weller 12yr pour right now. Weller is so underrated. 12yr, 90prf (wish it was 100), very nice bourbon, for $22 a 750 where I got it. Can't beat it.

That's pretty much how much it is here. It's weird how certain bottles of bourbon are cheaper outside of KY, like the BTAC.

Damn the 23yr is like $230+ here, and the 20yr is $130+. While Stagg is great, and the 12 and 15yr Van Winlkes (I haven't had the 20 or 23), the W.L.Weller of the BTAC is the best bourbon I have had...

Yea I've been wanting to try Stranahans as well, but it's like $45+ here and I can get some fine bourbon for that price like Jefferson's Reserve Very Old.

Yep. Stagg is great, although I definitely like the Weller of the BTAC much better. That stuff is amazing. Straight (neat), smooth, no heat at first, amazing flavor, then warming of the torso....
