I don't live in SD. I'm in Sac. But I'll be in SD the Thursday before SoCal, and Southwest Air is kind enough to let me check two 50lb suitcases for free.

Oh, and I just had Gilt Edge by Boring McFakey brewing, er, Ruhstaller. Meh. Great if you like carbonated grapefruit juice, ala Pellegrino Pompelmo soda....

Knee Deep's "Hop Shortage" seasonal.

The joke is, there's no shortage of hops in it.

It's a very well balanced 11.3% triple-IPA that doesn't taste like a booze bomb.

Some excellent homebrews from Kriss (Nickyteen) at his herf yesterday. Cream Ale, IPA, milk stout, oatmeal stout and oaked oatmeal stout.

I think it has a lot of potential with a year or two of cellaring. Right now though, it's good, but not great.

Sweet. I'd buy a couple in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the laws in CA that would prevent me getting it filled anywhere.

Cool, although I have to chuckle when I see "The most comprehensive mapping of the breweries of the USA ever compiled" and three of the oldest and largest capacity craft brewery houses in my area...
