So I have a dunkelweizen and an english brown ale fermmenting now. Both are bout the 5%some abv range.
My next batch is somewhat more adventurous...
It's a stout's stout

In my opinion a hefenwiezen is a great choice for a first batch.
I have never used a "mr beer" kit but have not heard the most complimentary things about them and am glad you are...

so I hate bottleing. what other options are there? I am thinking just bigger bottles would be ok because then it would be less bottleing and that's ok. SUGGESTIONS?

Hefe's are great anytime but especially in ths summer.
Bottled my wheat stout and cracked open one after a day and it's developing nicely. Don't see much wheat body smmoothness more of a stout...

Un stuck my wheat stout (which I am told is a heavy duty version of a dunkelwzn) and it started bubbling almost immediately.
A- made a starter yeast out of an Ale yeast pkt I had, let sit for 5...

Well called Austin home brew and it is indeed "stuck". Real friendly great knowledgable guy to deal with explained what to do. Oxygenate and add a yeast fuel. He also explained that my OG (1.060)....
