Never had a heat issue with mine...

Apple says that the heat issue is application dependent (e.g., hi res games have the most problems) but that even then the heat was not really an issue -- more...

I found one of the sources of my battery issues: Location Services. Apparently many apps enable this on install "xxx would would like to use your location". I turned off location services and this...

My only complaint is the battery life - started the day at 100% and I'm down to 39% right now. I read and posted on CA a few times, checked my email using the iPad client and read a couple of short...

The new iPad is so much faster than my wife's original iPad! And a really cool thing is the dictation tool! I just used it to enter this message -- it works great! it's so cool!

I did similar stuff for years. Now I just want to buy something and use it more or less as is. I want to be able to take it back to the store if something goes wrong -- I have better things to do...

I need to get my from Best Buy (I have a huge credit there after selling back a couple of old laptops). I hope that they will be taking pre-orders soon... :D
