I would not do that as they know you didn't buy the lifetime subscription. It's a pain, but if you get the automobile pack you can use a lifetime SKyFi unit. It's all about if you want to add stuff...

Again, as previously mentioned, go on EBay and get one with a lifetime subscription. It will pay for itself in a couple three years.

Depending on what you have, you likely can get a model with a lifetime subscription on Ebay. Basically, you buy it and don't ever have to worry about a subscription again. I have the now ancient...
