I'm the same. Love the RSASS but only utilize it with the ACOG scope. The variable scope is a pain in the ass really. Also, I've just never gotten used to the thermal, although I bet it really is...

I pretty much only play HC for the same reasons that Larry mentioned.
As far as this goes sniper class + trophy system seems to fix this problem. Also, I use my claymore and trophy system...

I don't think tactical camping is in itself a bad thing. I mean come on, as a sniper, what the hell else are you supposed to do? No one is going to run-n-gun with an RSASS. The best players, IMO...
