Re: Remembering pnoon

Man, for someone who hasn't been around here much over the last 5 or so years, it's tough seeing some of these names I had no idea had passed even though I have never met most of you in person. RIP...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

My local shop just got a Larceny Barrel Selection in. Not really a typical bourbon you'd think of for a barrel pick but Larceny is one of my favorite every day drinkers so I'm looking forward to...

Re: What's in your smoker?

Rev,it’s basically like reverse searing a giant steak. But tritip has this insane beefy flavor that I can’t get enough of and it’s a fairly cheap cut of meat.

Re: What's in your smoker?

Smoked another Tri tip last night. These have become easily my favorite thing to smoke.

Re: Help In Finding A Cigar!!!

This is kind of what I was thinking. A custom store rolled cigar bundle. Those are always tough to find unless you remember the store you got them at.

Re: My Humidor App

Ha! When you got a wife that doesn’t like the smell, little kids, and can’t golf until May, it’s tough to get much more than that in.

Re: Daily maduro

For me Illusione Rothchildes and Brickhouse Maduros. The Rothchildes are a small quick smoke with tons of flavor and great construction and the Brickhouse just has great flavor. Both aren't...

Re: My Humidor App

I agree with you guys it’s definitely a big undertaking. I pretty much just entered my multiples and boxes. I usually buy new cigars in fivers and smoke maybe one cigar a week. So it’s not too bad...

Well looks like I’ve forgotten how to post pics here for the 37th time. Was gonna share screenshots of the app.

My Humidor App

Was bored today and searched the app store to see if any cool cigar apps were out there and I found one. May have been shared here already but it's called "My Humidor".

You can create a virtual...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I agree with both of you guys, I enjoy the higher proof bourbons more as well, but for a bourbon in the 90s its tough to beat for flavor and smoothness. $90 msrp is ridiculous.

Re: Clogged Lighters

Well poop. That sucks but I agree, I think these are toasted. Some of my favorite torches too. Ordered a four pack of Ronsons. Those things have always been good and at $28 for four I won't be...

Re: Clogged Lighters

Tried some of the tips you guys gave me and still no luck. It’s like the butane isnt even getting into the tank on some of them. Odd. Never had that problem before.

Re: R.I.P. Gene Hackman

Ha! Hey we aren’t the professionals! When the story first came out I figured it must’ve been CO with how both them and a dog were dead. But now they are saying there are “enough suspicious things to...

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I found a stash of 16 bottles of Blantons a few years ago and bought them all because they were $52 a bottle. Sold many of them and now I'm down to one left. I know a lot of bourbon guys rag on it...

Re: R.I.P. Gene Hackman

Now they're saying there was no carbon monoxide or gas leak. The media fouled this one up from the start.

One hell of an actor though.

Re: Clogged Lighters

Thanks guys. I have tried bleeding them. And it hasn’t helped much. I’ll bring them to work and use our compressor and see it that’s It.

Clogged Lighters

I have recently had about 4 torches stop working. Two xikars, a Ronson and a Lotus. I am not using junk butane (it’s highly filtered) but it’s not xikar butane. My spark on all four is good but it...

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

DE Undercrown robusto last night while having a bonfire. The weather was so nice I couldn't resist having a fire. Always nice when 40 degrees feels like 70 after a long winter.

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

Keep seeing these mentioned recently. I've been trying to get through some of my stash over the past few years so I haven't been keeping up on the "newer" cigars. Might have to give these a look. ...

Re: 4 Nations Tourny

Every game has been great. I was waiting for that USA Can game all week. Never imagined basically an exhibition game would start like that. It’s pretty awesome to see how much it means to these guys....

Re: New Cigars To Try (NC)

I don’t think I’ve had a bad Illusione smoke. A new to me cigar that has turned into one of my favorite yard cigars is the Punch Bareknuckle. Pretty standard simple Punch flavor, but enough to keep...

Regular Larceny is one of my weekly bottles. That barrel proof is great too. I’ve seen it a couple places around here.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I had a shot at the Birthday Forrester a couple months ago but went with Stagg instead because I'd never had it.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!

I would love to try that Old Forrester 1924. I've seen it around a couple times here in MN but couldn't pull the trigger.
