Yip cigars are not illegal in the UK they just make you pay through the nose in tax for the privilege but the 12-20 dollar handling fee for charging you is the icing on the cake

I would not think so as sealed or not they are still the same environment as in your humi either way, would storing them at a lower RH not slow down the aging process a little, or my favourite method...
