				Re: Another tragedy strikes CA

Hadn't noticed the flag in the banner pic before. I'm assuming it is a recent add, related to this thread. If so, very nice touch. If not, then just apropos that I noticed now. R.I.P.
I've been...

Re: Buying cigars directly from manufacturers?

It is tough to do retail AND wholesale on a large scale. That's true of many (most?) commodities. Especially one that feels a need to continue support specialized brick and mortars. Add in the...

Re: What Is Your "Dream" Smoke?

Haven't had a dream cigar for years. At some point I realized that I have never had a 'coveted' cigar that I felt lived up to the hype....or more accurately, to the anticipation.
On the other...

				Re: Favorite Kristoff?

Lol...pretty good description. I liked the ligero criollo ok as a yard gar when I got them for 3 per on auctions. No others that I enjoyed much

				Re: Undercrown maduro belicoso

I was kind of surprised to see those. The original UC's were pretty clearly fermented and maduro-y. Is the 'maduro version' simply rebranding of the main line....to contrast with the shade version?...

Re: Famous Nic 3000 - still got it...kinda.

Never paid more than about 2 bucks per for Nic3K's (Cigar Auctioneer.)

They were a tremendous bargain years ago before they changed.

Looks like 5K's go for around the same prices

Re: Famous Nic 3000 - still got it...kinda.

Never had a Nic 5K. But I've had a few more 3K's since my last post in this thread and I will attest, that I may have misspoke....my new assessment is that they do, indeed, suck

Re: The "I'm tough" winter smoking thread

Tues evening it was 33 with wind chill of 25. Thoroughly enjoyed a RoMa Craft CroMagnon Aquitaine EMH outside. I use a parabolic dish heater that heats (and lights up) half the neighborhood.
