				 Re: Mexican Puros?
I have tried some cigars from A. Turrent and they were decent but nothing I would buy again.

By the way I'm going to Puerto Vallarta the 18 April and I intend to try some more Mexican cigars to...

The Never Say Never Again thread
In the beginning of my cigar career, I sometimes dismissed cigars as “not for me” or even “dog rockets” only because the cigar might have been over-humidified, too young or simply too much for my...

Re: Do You like Drew Estate?
In what way are those connected to Drew Estate?

I have tried and actually enjoyed Natural Dirt, Root and Clean Robusto. The small Dirt was the winner. Nothing I smoke often but nice to have for a...

Re: can you clip/smoke a cigar witha moldy foot?
We are exposed to spores all the time, we inhale spores in every breath we take! This kind of mold will not grow on people and the amount of spores inhaled is so negligible that I have a hard time...

Re: In full boxes...do you take the celo off?
I'm a firm believer in that the exposure to air should be minimized during aging. "Let them stew in their own brew!"

I seldom smoke anything younger than two years from my own stash (but I smoke...

Re: Most powerful cigar you ever smoked?
I have felt dizzy and nauseated several times when smoking too many cigars in a too short period of time during herfs. Usually I only feel a slight discomfort during the herf and the real agony comes...

Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Cordoba - a truly great tasting cigar after aging for half a year or more. Full, concentrated and almost Cuban flavour!

I have smoked four or five PI cigars of different sizes but they have all been mediocre, or worse, and all left a lot to be desired when it comes to construction. Still, since some well respected and...

In my opinion, Don Lino Africa is ok when young but turns out fabulous when aged properly for two years. One of the yummiest cigars I have! :)

				 Re: Cigar storage question
Ah, you have a lot of beads and therefore a huge specific area to regulate the RH! But, why using a glass of water instead of giving the beads some extra water?

				 Re: Cigar storage question
Pure water in a glass? No beads in the glass? Sounds like a very bad idea since beads can't hold much moisture and they are quickly over saturated leading to 100 % RH inside your cooler!

Re: best way to clean mold off a cigar?
There is no need of separating them from other cigars since the mold will stop growing when the RH is lowered! The spores are already spread to all of your cigars but as I stated above, spores were...

Re: How long have you been smoking?
I started trying different cigars around 1996. It took me one or two years until I really got hooked, by a Cuban RyJ Cedros De Luxe No. 3 from 1994. My first real humidor was a gift from my whife in...
