Re: Any pipers still active here?
I usually do the same since its cold out. If I get too cold I know I can set my pipe down and revisit it later, even the next day. Just bought a new house (my first house!) And the wife and I will...

Re: Any pipers still active here?
Mason jar tobacco should be still in great condition assuming the lid made a solid seal. If the baggies are just zip lock that will be dried out unfortunately. If they're in mylar baggies and heat...

Re: Any pipers still active here?
Only takes me a few minutes to clean my pipes after a smoke. Shouldn't take long, hit the stem and bowl with pipe cleaners and call it good! Takes me more time to prep the tobacco than cleaning my...

Re: Any pipers still active here?
Nice! You sent me some aged GH LP awhile ago and I keep it set aside for special occasions (along with other select tobaccos as well). I believe there was cherry cream GH amongst many others as well....

Re: Any pipers still active here?
Whats everyone's go to blends? I missed the McC days when it was still readily available but I've managed to source a bit of it here and there. LBF and newminster 400 are probably my favorite bulks.

Re: Wanting to start a pipe club, need ideas
A local B&M has a pipe night once a month. Usually a few guys go, I can never make it due to my work schedule. They don't have a great selection of pipes or pipe tobacco unfortunately.
You could...

Any pipers still active here?
Got into piping a little over a year ago. Still reach for cigars most of the time but there's something so good about a good smoke from a pipe!

Re: thoughts of days of old
The cooler part/fridge part went out on mine as well. Luckily the temps dont really get above 70 in the condo and it holds humidity like a champ so I have no need to replace it. I'm debating if I...

thoughts of days of old
On another board people are discussing wineadors and I chimed in about my Vinotemp I've had for 10+ years. As I sat there thinking about it, I couldn't help but get a huge smile on my face.
This...

Re: Rattray old gowrie
Interesting I'm quiet the opposite in everything you posted haha. I heavily lean towards VA heavy blends if not straight VA. Capstan blue, dunhill flake are my go to flakes right now. I'm currently...

Tat project is complete
Today I acquired the last 3 sticks that have avoided me in many years. Granted I didn't search out ebay or go out of my way to get them. But I finally got the last 3 I needed (minus Tiff and Chuck...
