Re: First Firearm Thread.

Congrats on the new purchase! Been very happy with my shield in 9mm. Carry it daily. And even though it's fairly small, it's still fun to use at the range.

Re: First Firearm Thread.

I've been reading about the relatively new m&p 22 compact and think it'll be my next purchase. I carry a m&p shield and have been looking for a 22 pistol for a while.

Re: Photography Thread

Thanks! It was a great overcast day for outdoor photos. I have to admit that the framing in the open area of the tree branches in the background was a happy accident, but I'll take credit for it...

Re: Photography Thread

Here are a couple recent ones I pulled off my camera. First is my daughter from July 4, 2014. The other is from the same day - just a shot of some grasses planted along the back of our house that I...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermenter?

Brewed a hefeweizen this weekend and it got a little explosive. Caught it before the pail lid blew off, but made a bit of a mess already.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?

Had rouge's daddy's little helper black ipa tonight that my wife surprised me with. Definitely one of the roastier black ipas I've tried. Almost tasted like a hoppy Russian imperial stout to me.

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?

Having a Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA. Always in stock, and reasonably priced for a tasty IPA. And goes surprisingly well with a Tampa Sweethearts 500 maduro.

Re: Cold Weather Smokes?

I really like those for a relatively quick smoke. Fuente Short Stories are another of my favorites (even when it's not cold out) but it seems they can take a while to get through too.
