Re: Brazen

I had a top for the caraf that had been changed during production I guess, the thumb lever was at a steeper angle and it was hard to not pull the brew basket out when pulling the caraf. The side...

Re: Brazen

Behmor customer support is really good, they should take care of you but they may be a little busy so don't give up. There is bound to be real world issues that arise with a first release production....

Re: Home-Roasters who use Espresso Machines

I do roast for espresso and the profile is different then for other brews. I like to stretch the roast time after the start of first to end of roast to caramelize the sugars more for a sweeter cup. I...

Re: Brazen

I have had the Brazen for a few weeks now and I am really liking it. There are brewers out there that can brew at the proper temp (195f-205f) but are either very expensive or just not what I wanted...

Re: Coffee obsession

I think it matters where you are on the slope to consider it cheaper :D. Commercial 1kg roaster in the garage, 4 burr grinders, espresso machine soon to be upgraded to a commercial machine, many...

Re: House broken into yesterday.. home defense help needed

I do not agree that the sound of racking a shot gun is a defense plan. If you plan on using a gun then a round should be chambered and the one and only thing that is heard is BANG. I personally think...

Excellent Norm :noon :tu

I have been hitting the El Salvador's hard this year and getting out of my Ethiopian rut since I have not found many in the last couple of years that did much for me. Even...

Re: I just discovered Coffee

I have to agree with Mister Moo, run while you still can. It all starts with a few brew devices, a good burr grinder, fresh roasted coffee, then you find yourself thinking roasting would be nice and...

Re: The Espresso Ledge

Put it in the piggy bank and next spring a whole new set of grinders will come out, maybe, lol. Baratza really might have opened the door for dosing by weight, I don't mean an LSD dose by a persons...

Re: The Espresso Ledge

LMAO! A few things to consider and really check out is how much grind retention different commercial grinders have. I have seen people mention the Mahlkonig K30 Vario needs 10-15g purge to clear...

Re: Lucky break, no burned down house
