B-ball in Kabul
I went home on leave last October and showed my wife pics of one of the orphanages we help out. US forces (and plenty of other countries' forces, plus non-governmental organizations) fund project to help the people of Afghanistan. These projects include building schools, putting in wells, getting food to villages, etc. My wife saw pics of the orphange's play yard and noticed there was no net on the basketball pole.
When she asked me why not, I told her they didn't have a basketball, anyway. So once I got back, she sent me one, a net, and a pump. The next time I visited the orphanage: http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/IMG_0492.jpg http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/IMG_0493.jpg http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...n/IMG_0494.jpg |

Re: B-ball in Kabul
It is good to see something good happening over there. The news we get from biased media doesnt like to portray that.
You have my eternal gratitude:usa |
