Well Crap!
 

Just need to vent,
Today ended rather badly, Most of you know I own my own saddle/Gunleather/Custom leather Business, I do ok, I keep my face fed and manage a cigar now and then. My wife for the past couple of years has worked as an accountant / Book keeper for a ranching, Guest ranch lodge kinda place up in greer, Well today she got laid off.
We knew things were getting kinda scarce up there but we didn't expect this quite this soon.
This new global economy of ours sucks swamp if ya' ask me.
Looks like it's time to tighten up the belt, sell a truck and pound a for sale sighn in front of this big ass house .... Time for me to find a spot 50 miles away from humanity again.
Try to live like normal town folks for a while and look what happens.
Ok, Vent over ... Sorry bout' that.

Sorry to hear about your wife's job, this economy just blows.

Hopefully, one door closing will lead to a better one opening.

Sorry to hear that, this economy truly sucks. Raising the capital gains tax and dividends is only going to make things worse. not good

Thanks everyone, We'll be ok, We've been through worse, I know there are people out there who have it a lot worse than we do. It just came at a bad time.
Our biggest problem is this house we bought because my eldrly mother lived with us, Well mom doesn't live with us any more and selling this humongus house right now is going to be a real challenge.
I just needed to piss and moan a little I guess.
