It was on its way to Charlotte. Pilot said he hit a flock of Geese and chose to bring it down in the river.

Not sure, they said people were spotted standing on the wing. not sure if they were passengers or rescuers???

I hope DrMRS doesn't see this story. I was just flying US Air on the east coast earlier in the week.
