An Endorsement for Smokingpipes.com

On Jan 2, I ordered a couple pipes from smokingpipes.com

One was the Savinelli Roma I posted on another thread, the other was a stanwell vario bulldog.

Well, I didn't like the Stanwell in person, so I sent it back (14 day guarantee as long as you don't smoke it). When I called about where to send it, I spoke with Joyce, the nice lady who handles customer service for them, and she said I could just return it, or exchange it.

So I sent it back, and the next day found a pipe I wanted to replace it with. The other pipe, a Johs bent brandy, which was 3 bucks more.

Well I called today, and they got my stanwell back, and are sending out the Johs... at no extra charge (no shipping no nothing). Joyce explained that she had her ways, and that I wouldn't be paying any more for it.

So a hearty thanks to Joyce and to Smokingpipes! Here's what it looks like:

an add on to my endorsement

in a recent order from SP, I received some Carolina Christmas and Squadron leader

both tins were damaged. Not to the extent that the tobacco was affected, but still, I wouldn't be able to reseal either tin, so it was inconvenient.

Well I emailed them, informing them of the damage. I even stated in the email that I didn't want anything, I just wanted to make them aware (to be more careful in packing or whatever). Well, today, I received a brand new tin of each, at no charge whatsoever!

thanks again!
