Remote Wireless Hygrometers
Good afternoon, one and all!
I wanted to share yet another pleasant experience. I purchased a remote hygrometer set from Amazon, brand is X-Sense, and it's been an easy setup. It comes with a base station and some Hygrometers. They have 2 different models of hygros...one with a display and one that's more of a sensor-only. I ended up buying 2 of the display models for my igloos. Setup is easy. Download the app, plug the base station power in, press the button and the app should see it. Done. Adding the sensors was a matter of pressing the sensor button twice to put it in discovery mode. Then add them to the app. The app does a great job of walking you through it. When setup in the salt box, they all averaged 74%RH, and calibration is super simple. The thing I love most is it provides historical data, as well as custom alerts for out of spec conditions. https://i.postimg.cc/SQHTpGSY/Screen...726-180418.png The Dashboard https://i.postimg.cc/3J7Gpy9b/PXL-20...-234957896.jpg The size of the smaller sensor. https://i.postimg.cc/gcwwZVvD/Screen...731-132236.png Historical data I'm very impressed for the price point. |

Re: Remote Wireless Hygrometers
Looks cool! I use the Govee products but it seems like it's pretty much the same thing, I'm a huge fan of the wireless monitoring

Re: Remote Wireless Hygrometers
Walmart sells a $15 base station with 3 remote indoor/outdoor sensors. I've been using it for years with great results. No app, thank God. :D

Re: Remote Wireless Hygrometers
My one niggle is no dark mode. Opening it at night is like a flash bang going off.
