Duck Season Eve.
It's September 1 tomorrow. In Manitoba that means it's duck season eve tonight. Grown men sleep poorly and are up at 4:30am to get to the marsh on time...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LWp8nHD8Tc I'll be in the hide ready for 6:14am. Quack, boom, splash. |

Re: Duck Season Eve.
We has an awesome day out. Weathers was fine, and there were plenty of ducks.... (I won't display the harvest in fear of offending the more sensitive anti-hunting types among us.)
But.... The hunters equivalent of a shore lunch: Wood duck breast - pan fried in Wyoming organic farm butter - served right on the tailgate of the truck. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/...sr1ir8sxn.jpeg |

Looks great Neil glad things went well for you.

Happy campers in the trenches. No Dick Cheneys around..... |
Re: Duck Season Eve.
So what do the ducks have, armored vehicles? body armor? Hunter decoys? Wonder Woman's invisible jet (I just like picturing ducks flying in the invisible jet).

Re: Duck Season Eve.
We're still a month away here in the Idaho panhandle, but you inspired me to get the Benelli SBE out and shot some clays... thx!
