Padilla Miami (Pepin blend)

Believe it or not, I've never had one of these before.

Reminds me of a Pepin Blue with a little bit sweeter finish and aftertaste. A really good cigar. Strong but smooth.

Has anyone compared the old blend to the new AJ Fernandez blend?

Yes. The new one is sweeter with less spice. It's good but not what I have come to expect with this cigar. Glad I stocked up! :tu

See, that description sounds better than the 8/11 I had, at least in the robusto. I tried the Fernandez blended Padilla habano and was enamored with the slight sweetness on the finish of that cigar. I can't wait to try these, although they seem to be even pricier than they used to be, or is that just me?
