Fishing on the Red River
 

My brother is out from SA and we went after some of the famous Red River catfish. They are huge! We lost count, but had "10 by 10am". (All catch and release) Later in the day we had a double header:

The biggest fish was a cool 42 inches!

Holy mackerel, er, catfish! Them big fish! Never had fresh catfish, but I've heard stories of how great they are.

All smiles and that's what we like to see.

Used to catch them back on the Banana / Indian river in FL, never saw one that big, but then again we never ate them, they were more of a nuisance.
