No power

Damn this ice storm. I am now required to get my hourly internet fix via my phone. I guess it's not a bad time for me to sit in front of the propane heater and have a smoke.

I guess I'd better tell the Dr. MRS to call her parents -- they live in Findlay.

Hang in there! Thankfully all the ice has melted from the trees here ... we've got some serious wind gusts that would be snapping trees, otherwise.

Back on now. Off for about 10 hours, last time we got a ice storm, it was off for 3 days. Apparently I was one of the lucky few to be without power in the city today, only a few blocks lost power.

All we had in Cinci was torrents of rain, and mega wind! After standing in line for ten minutes at the Milford PO, and walking to the counter, they lost THEIR power! So much for mailing the package. There were about twenty folks behind me. We just left and went across the street to eat- where they HAD power. Go figure!

Glad yours is back, my friend!

Been thru it and hate it,,,which is why I moved to non snow and icy areas. Thoughts go out to you,,,freezing your a$$ off is not my idea of learning patience.
