Seriously lame commercials!
 

This is one of the worst SB commercial years I have ever seen. I hope they get better in the 2nd half, maybe the only thing that gets better :)

The Doritos "Time Machine" was the only mildly entertaining spot among a bunch of stinkers.

Agreed. Very boring so far. It's like they found a formula and are sticking to it. It used to be super bowl commercials could surprise or shock us. Now it's like they're all in on the same joke

what he said. wife is already in bed. family that was over for the game have all gone home. it's just me and my dog watching the game. well, my dog is watching it through closed eyelids.

Probably the worst year for commercials that I can remember. Oh, and the game is pretty bad as well.

And it's my understanding that one was made by an amateur as part of Doritos' annual competition.

But I've been watching an old movie since 8 PM, and am switching to Sherlock on PBS right now, so what do I know?

Agree commercials sucked but as the game went, awesome.
Best defenses shut down and dismantled the best offense.
Wasn't the shot out all would prefer but certainly a very well played game by Seattle.

Commercials sucked (especially disappointed by VW/Audi after hearing how much they spent)but,

Game very entertaining for anti manning crowd. Dont get me wrong. He is top 7 - 10 for sure but NOT the best ever as some would be saying if he won.

Budweiser was smart to pre-release the puppy love and homecoming commercials. The majority of ads were garbage. A few friends liked the Cheerios ad where the girl works her father to buy her a puppy. Others liked the RadioShack one and still others liked the Toyota commercials with the Muppets. Meh. I'm not really impressed.

As I did not watch that crappy game, I checked out some ads online. Don't know why the Maserati one is getting panned so much. Yeah, it was weird, but it was weird to see a Maserati advertised anyway. And aside from the Fiat 500, when's the last time you saw an Italian car hawked on US TV?

OK, so Maserati is owned by Fiat, and with Fiat owning Chrysler it's sorta American anyway . . . though not by fiat. ;)
