HELP! me pick a photo to enter into the competition at work.
Guys, we are having a competition at work for National Corrections Officer's Week. This year someone suggested that there be a photo competition. Any subject matter is ok. As of now we can only enter one image. Please help me choose which of these images I should submit. Please hit the poll. Comments are always welcome as well guys. THANKS!

5 - Might consider cropping out a little more of the sand. The footprints are just a little bit distracting.
Also like 6, but would like it more if the tree was not exactly centered. |
Re: HELP! me pick a photo to enter into the competition at work.
Tough, I like the perspective and the clouds in 5, but 6 is cool. No. 4 has great clouds, sun color, water color and texture, and I like that you can make out features on the tree's surface.
#4 it is. The microbus is pretty cool, too. |

5 does it for me.

I say #8. Is that yours? I swear I saw that thing down in Mississippi back in 06.

#2 or #5 for me, I voted 5, but it was a virtual tie.

I like #1, the way that single flare from the sun shines down over the branch and onto the sand really makes me want to keep looking at it.
#2 is also good the sun in the background looks like it's about to go supernova or something. |

I would love to vote for #8, but I wouldn't enter that unless people know about those. Great Bus!
#1 gets mine. |
Re: HELP! me pick a photo to enter into the competition at work.
Close race between 4 and 5 for me. I went with 5 because of the depth.

I voted for #4 because I want to be like Mac when I get old

I voted #1, it looks the most professional to me. (And it is a beautiful shot)
I love how the driftwood dips into the sand and pops back up like Nessy! |
