Chris Kyle Picture Hanging Ceremony
 

I've got a house out on Coronado, CA. It's where all Navy SEALS go through BUD/S Training. I was out to San Diego on a layover Thursday and Friday. Ran over to Coronado to check on the house and the renters and hang out most of Friday. Went into Danny's Grill on Friday to get a "Slamburger" for lunch. It's a pretty big SEAL hangout, and pretty decent "Greasy Spoon".

I thought it was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon. But it got a hell of a lot busier by the time we were 1/2 done with our burgers. It got packed with some very somber and serious dudes. We were the last ones out of the bar before they closed it off for a private ceremony to put Chris Kyle's picture up alongside some other Navy SEAL heroes.

Just happened to be in the right place - kind of surreal. Glad those dudes are on our side! God bless 'em.
