Box Pressed?

Seem a lot of references to a box pressed cigar having a perfect burn... Well, why on earth do all of my box pressed cigars burn crooked as all hell? I guess I suck on the cigar weird...

Yeah, this thread has almost as much point as a bowling ball. Just thought I would put it out there tho.

Crooked which way? Top of cigar out running the bottom? moisture settling maybe?

on my PAN/PAM the burn on mine is a little wavy but never razor sharp but on my onyx reserve torbusto burns almost straight across. so i really cant explain or provide a reason as to why some do or dont burn evenly

Mine seem to never have the 'perfect' burn either.. Seems like one corner is always left behind..

I am inpatient and fix those, any burn issue on any smoke right away. I do not see the crooked like you explain.

I think perfect burn is more about humidity than about box pressing or shape. Just my :2

I am inclined to agree. Personally though, if all my favorite cigars became box-pressed, they would become my favoritest sticks. Oh wait, they mostly ars :x

I don't have any complains on the box pressed that I've smoked the draw always seem to be just right. Burn issues? nah!! I get a slight tilted burn from time to time but it almost always corrects itself.... I agree with everyone who said humidity issues.. that might be the solution to your problem.
Good luck on your next box press
