Nub 460 Habano
1 Attachment(s)
Supposedly these cigars were made to have the flavors of the last third of a longer stick condensed into a smaller form factor. Im not a huge fan of the Nub form factor - if Im pressed for time Id rather some a corona or TPC. But I had to pick up a couple to see if they really did indeed capture the best part of a cigar right off the light.
If the best part of a cigar is bitter and sour tastes, they hit this one on the head. Unfortunately, I cant stand those flavors and they remained with the entire smoke. The initial light produced some pepper but that faded quickly into pretty much bitter nothingness. Also, this nub of a stick required multiple relights despite several months of proper storage. Not recommended, there are much better sticks for the price of these. I was really surprised as I like some of the other stuff coming from Oliva... |

Agree 100%
Also, it's a bad trend, paying full price for a half a cigar. |

While I can appreciate the review, I actually like most nubs, the connies being a favorite.

I love the Nub Tubos. The flavor in these ones is amazing. The tubo maddie is an amazing stick.

Re: Nub 460 Habano
I hit the Cameroon NUB this weekend and it was much better than the Habano, but it still had the cloying bitterness and sour flavors in the background. At least this time they werent front and center though. Ill humi the other Cameroons for a month or so and try again.
