Henge Dock for MacBooks
Decided to start doing some more work from home, and wanted to get an external monitor. I didn't want to just leave my laptop sitting on the desk, and remembered Gizmodo talking about some sort of dock for MacBooks. I looked it up and found my way to the Henge Dock website (www.hengedocks.com)
There is a nice video on their site, and also options for most types of Apple laptops. But anyways, here are a few pics (apologies for the somewhat poor quality) Picture of the connectors inside of the dock. You use a hex wrench that is provided to tighten the connectors into place, then just slide the macbook in. http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2901/photo4bn.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/1663/photo2gga.jpg Here you can see where the hex screws are that tighten down the connectors. http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/460/photo1wnx.jpg And a picture of the entire desk. I really like how the dock gives the area a very clean look. http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/7196/photo3nz.jpg |

Neato.
How's the stability with the larger Macbook? I'm guessing that there is a non-slip coating of some sort on the bottom of the dock (I hope)? |

Great looking add-on. We used to use Bookendz at work, but found they didn't stand up.
I usually just keep my MBP open on my desk as I like to use both monitors. |

Badass. I'll be in the market for a new MBP next spring. Mine is barely hanging in there.
